Dr. Freya Moskowitz is a recent transplant to our area, having moved from New Hampshire in the summer of 2008. A native of Pittsburgh, PA (we tried to incorporate a Redskins clause into her contract to no avail), she has enjoyed working with animals since high school. After graduating in 2004 from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, she worked in a "mixed practice" where she treated horses, sheep and goats, as well as small animals such as cats and dogs.

Since moving to the District, she has enjoyed exploring our local trails and dog parks. She is an avid runner and hiker, and enjoys camping, playing guitar, drawing and ceramics, and Redskins football, of course. She and her partner Aaron have a dog, Ella, and two tabby cats, Elvis and Murphy.
