



Dr. Shelley Kirkland graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and moved to our area in 2008. She has been working with animals since high school and is especially interested in wildlife. She spent time at the Clinic for Rehabilitation of Wildlife on Sanibel Island, as well as the Southeastern Raptor Rehabilitation Center at Auburn University, where she pursued her undergraduate degree in Zoology.
Newlyweds, Dr. Kirkland and her husband enjoy photography and hiking in their spare time, as well as exploring their new surroundings here in Maryland. They recently added a Corgi-mix, Rocco, to their household.
