Dr. Susan Bright joined Kenwood Animal Hospital in a part-time capacity in 2005. Originally from Ohio, she graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and pursued a veterinary internship in nearby Washington, D.C. Since that time, she has primarily practiced locally. Additionally, she is employed in at the FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Bright enjoys travelling, outings at the National Zoo, attending professional sports events (she is a fan of baseball and hockey), concerts, movies, and reading. She shares her home with a senior dog, Teddy, and two cats, Ernie and Sunny.
